poor choice Maybe I expected too much but in the end it was just a rock hard horn and our Labrador agreed and he's not hard to please.
Small size but lasts forever! I was a little mad when I recieved the package because I imagined it to be much bigger. It was indeed 6 inches as stated so really I should have just looked at a ruler first but to my surprise my pit bull has been gnawing at the thing all week and NOT SO MUCH AS A DENT. We've given him bully sticks and large bones before but he kills everything in a day unless we're conscientious about taking it away from him to make it last. Not the case with this antler. I have a feeling it will last monthsand it's actually made our puppy a lot more mellow. He chews on it sometimes and leaves it sometimes but we've noticed when he gets bored he goes straight for it. No more whining at us for more attention trust me he gets plenty but its never enough!.
Perfect size for teething Maltese/Yorkie mix aka Morkie I got the small antler for my 4lb 4 month old morkie who is teething. So far he likes it and its the perfect size for him. It stays in his crate and he plays with it when he's in there. I initially thought he wasn't playing with it at all until I discovered that the bumping and scratching sounds coming from his crate weren't from him rearranging his bedding but from him trying to bury what he thinks is a bone. It's really cute.Its not a whole antler its a piece of one and the piece has a few bumps but is mostly smooth and straight. It's like a really hard bone that ants won't be attracted to.So far we haven't had any problems with him chewing things but we always watch him when he's out of his crate and he has lots of chew toys including treat dispensers to keep him occupied. We also do obedience training 15 mins in the morn and 15 mins in the eve as well as agility training to keep him occupied and to distract from negative behaviors and to help him spend his energy. I think all of these things impact on his need to chew.I've uploaded a pic to show him with the antler.
Misleading size The actual antler was much smaller and quite a bid simpler looking than the picture. I was disappointed. For its size 12 dollars is too much.
Our dog LOVES this product! Our dog Athena LOVES elk antlers. Though they can be pricey they last a really long time especially compared to other toys that she has destroyed in a few days. The Amazon price was competitive and it arrived in a timely manner. Note There is a difference between elk antlers and deer antlers. We have found elk antlers last longer. Deer antlers are a bit cheaper but they don't last nearly as long as elk antlers.
Great chew for my agressive chewing beagle but he didn't take to it at first Got this item for my dog a while ago and it just now has to be replaced. To give an idea of what my dog can go through indestructible toys and things with reinforced stitching can only last a matter of minutes. Nylabone toys which are supposed to curb chewing by being too difficult to get through can pose a challenge and last for a little while. But this toy has lasted quite a while as well.Just a heads up at first my dog wasn't so interested in it the first few days we gave it to him. Then he took to chewing it and it became one of his favorite toys chewing it down to a little nub. This is a fairly cheap toy and it was able to ship overseas to my APO address without a problem. I'd highly recommend this product and intend to buy a third and more of these once this one wears out.
not quite what I had hoped for I purchased two of the medium antlers as both of my dogs are big chewers and I wanted to give them a natural alternative to nylabones which they love. I had heard many good things about antlers but I guess they just didn't live up to my expectations. First for the price I thought they were a little small. They were about 5 inches long and no more than an inch in diameter at the widest part. I gave one to each of my midsized dogs 34 and 48 lbs and they really enjoyed them. But my border collie mix was able to devour nearly the entire thing in a matter of a few days with only a couple hours time with it each day. This to me is not a long lasting chew and not worth what I paid. Yes my dogs did like them but I will probably not buy them again.
Terrible product! I ordered and paid for what I thought would be some sizeable deer antlers for my goldens however when the antlers arrived I was terribly disappointed. The size was very small for what was ordered as 'large'. I had previously ordered some antlers for the same price but from a different company and they were huge these weren't even 1/4 the size of the previously ordered ones. So I thought I would give them to my dogs anyway rather than go to the trouble of sending them back. Big mistake within 3 minutes my dogs had broken off pieces and I had to take them away from them. I returned the antlers and wrote a note telling the company of my experience.
Didn't last long I have a 15lb Yorkie mix who loves to chew on bones socks etc and usually finishes things in no time. I was hoping deer antlers would last him a long time. This was my first time buying a deer antler. He loved it. However the Medium was pretty small I'd say about 4 inches and he still devoured it in under 30 minutes. For that kind of money I'm better off trying a different snack that would last longer.

Bone came with texture My 78 pound baby loves these bones. It's about the only thing she cannot eat in one sitting and lasts her for several months. The vet prefers she have something softer because she's cracked some of her teeth on it but the softer Nylabones she eats right through. This Dura Chew Bone is part of her morning routine. She has always had the smooth bone and that is what I thought I was ordering. When it came it was the textured boneshe didn't care. She's been carring it around with her for a week now proud of her new bone.
Excellent Chew My 18month old Lab loves this Nylabone. It's the perfect size for him. It has lasted a few months and he normally spends time chewing it each night. He is a strong chewer but not the strongest I've seen. I recently ordered another since he gnawed his first one to about half the original size. I wouldn't allow him to chew this much past the half way point as it could become a choking hazard. I gave this 4 stars since it is not really a healthy material to ingest. Small pieces are not supposed to hurt the dogs but there is no nutritional value.A natural alternative to this would be Deer Antlers. They are more expensive but will last quite a while. Our dog loves those as well but the Nylabones provide a nice variety so he doesn't get too bored with any one chew.
Awesome My dog is a powerful chewer and this is the only toy that has lasted longer than a few days! It still doesn't even have a dent on it and he chews on it frequently everyday.
Long Lasting Bone Our dog usually doesn't chew on the really hard bones and she goes through rawhides so fast. This bone has lasted a couple months with daily use and it's still in really good condition. She loves it.
Received wrong product but more importantly Not safe for dogs! My dogs love nylabones and we've been buying them for years. I recently decided to stock up and ordered 4 nylabones! They arrived quickly but one of the packages was partially open. They also had a new textured look that I wasn't sure my dogs would like. The picture indicated that the product I would be receiving would be the same untextured nylabones that my dogs love.However those aren't the only reasons I'll be returning them. We just took one of our dogs to the vet this week and had to spend almost $1000 getting two cracked teeth removed! Our vet said that nylabones are too hard for dogs' teeth and recommended that we use raw bones from the butcher instead.
Dogs love a bone My dogs love these bones! The order arrived quickly and was exactly what they wanted. I will definitely be ordering more.
Dental risk I just spent $1400 on dental work for my two dogs both of whom broke multiple teeth on these bones. The Bones do prevent tartar buildup but at an unacceptable cost. I believe this product should carry safety warnings because the vet told us that this is a common problem with the hard bones.

Good for strong chewers My 90 lb bloodhound loves to chew on everything. Most toys only last a day or two in our house because he tears them to pieces.

My Bulldog's FAV!!! My dog's are both very spoiled. They have three overflowing buckets of toys on each floor of our house. My English Bulldog loves this toy!!! He chews on it for hours. He takes it on walks. Stares at it for hours if it has happened to roll under the couch. He has chewed it so it is actually broken but he refuses to destroy it completely because it is his favorite. I think he has had the same one for about 2 years.
No doggies ripping this squeeky out! We purchased this toy for my mom's dog at Christmas. My mom has a small black mutt who loves ripping apart the dog toys and getting the squeeker out. This toy withstood the dog's aggressiveness. My mom said it lasted the longest of all the toys the squeeker part. Once the dog did rip the squeeker out the dog still loved playing with it. The dog played with this toy constantly once it was opened. It was annoyingly funny. It is a wellmade product.
Good Other Cuz I have 2 labs that are fairly aggressive chewers but bought this toy for them to play with under supervision. I enjoyed watching them chase each other around the room for about 5 minutes squeaking it and having a wonderful time until the squeaker fell into the inside. I was hoping that the toy would last longer than 5 minutes! I am just thankful it fell into the inside and not outside where the dogs could swallow it.
Not very tough My 55 pound American Bulldog mix loved this for the hour that it lasted before she was able to crack the rubber and start to pull it apart.
some dogs may not destroy it Great for gentle dogs. Our Golden loved it then destroyed it in an hour. Toughen it up and it would be ideal.
Don't choke your dog. Toy good at first. Squeaker can be pushed into ball and if pulled back out and glued it will crack and the dog can work the pieces loose. Don't let this happen. Had to take it away because I was worried she would swallow the pieces from the squeaker and choke.
Not worth the money My nine month old female lab puppy has a box of toys. I thought this would be a great addition. She could hardly get her mouth around the ball so I thought great she can play with this one. I left her with it for five minutes looked down and she had just about removed the squeeky part and already tore the rubber around the squeeky insert. For $8 dollars I thought it would be stronger. I don't recommend this toy as it requires constant supervision. I'm not sure what it's good for since they can't chew on it and it's too heavy to play with like a ball. What a disappointment. Also while an ugly blue color was shown in the ad it showed up in an even uglier peptobismol pink. The ad does say colors vary.
Durable Fun Toy My Dog Loves this Toy! We have a few of these in different colors and styles i.e. good bad other cuz.
Loads of fun if you can take the noise My old fella has had a long love affair with Cuz. I prefer the newer version Other Cuz to the older version for the reason other reviewers have noted the feet are easily chewed off. He has never been interested in chewing the feet on the Other Cuz.The noise this thing makes is completely obnoxious but because it brings so much happiness to my guy I tolerate it. It sounds like a cross between a sick goose and a squeal. This is the only toy he enjoys. Unfortunately he wears out the noisemaker within a few play sessions most times. If these were a little more durable this would be a fivestar toy in our household.
Not the best choice for aggressive chewer I have 2 aggressive chewers a 70 pound Boxer and a 180 pound English Mastiff. The only toys they don't destroy in minutes are the JW toys. But the Mastiff chews the feet off the Bad Cuz in a matter of minutes. So I purchased the Other Good Cuz because of a review on this site of the Bad Cuz toy which indicated this one might be better than the Bad Cuz because of the feet. No she chewed the leg stump things off just as quickly. The legs are hollow and when they are gone there are two holes in the toy and it no longer squeaks and gives them a good start on destroying the ball. So this one lasted only about 15 minutes.

A little issue I got this item not too long ago and I was a little disappointed. The product description reads KONG Wubba Ballistic FRIENDS. It also displays a picture of 4 Wubba's claiming it's assorted. I thought that it was a great deal for the 4and was left disappointed. I'm thinking they should watch the way in which they advertise the merch. I could have gotten this product cheaper at the pet store.
Nice for a mellow dog but not for mine. My dog performs a squeakerectomey on most toys. It is almost impossible to do on the Wubba but somehow she managed to do it.It took her longer on this one but we are finding fabric shreds everywhere.
My dog loves this! This is one of my dog's favorite toys. It's tough enough that he can't chew through it yet soft enough that he can enjoy. He has so much fun playing fetch with it and just running around squeaking it. We liked it so much we bought several more Wubba's.
Cute for a few minutes Cute but tear up too easilythey only lasted about 30 minutes with our Aussie who loves chew toys! A little bit of a surprise being a Kongthey usually last better.
NOT so Tough My dog a three year old beagle had this toy completely destroyed in about 5 minutes. I was disappointed that this tough toy was a complete waste of my money.

The only chew bone durable enough for a sled dog. I have an old Alaskan husky and he eats even the large Zoe and Greenie chews within a couple of minutes. This is the first commercial chew bone that he actually chews on as opposed to tearing it apart and swallowing. It's not terrifically attractive in fact he ignored it completely for a couple of days but now he chews on it regularly and it's definitely reducing tartar.
Great Nylabone This is the best Nylabone I have bought so far my pup 1yr old Shepard mix has been chewing on it for months and it still holds it shape.
Dog loves it This Nylabone is pretty much indestructible. My German Shepherd has been chewing on it for almost 9 months and it's still holding up. She loves chewing on it.
Great For Aggressive Chewers Our dog is an aggressive chewer and loves this Chicken flavor Nylabone. It cleans his teeth and he never seems to have any bad breath. I do have to pick up the pieces that he's chewed off but it satisfies his chewing urges. Since the price was reasonable and shipping was free I bought 4 of the to keep on hand.
Durable Nylabones are Less Durable Lately. These durable Nylabones seem to be somewhat less durable in the past couple years. I have an older Nylabone in the same flavor & size that my dog is still working at and it's still in good shape. But I've purchased two more in the past year in this and another flavor and each time the pieces of plastic come away too easily & quickly. By 20 minutes into chewing there are too many large pieces coming off and I have to take it away. Swallowing this stuff is not good. I think Nylabone might be intentionally making these LESS durable so that we'll have to buy them more often since the old ones lasted a lifetime.Also note that this item is indeed the newer textured version of the toy. I was hoping it wouldn't be but I couldn't find it in this flavor and size in the untextured and the description didn't mention it either way. My dog didn't seem to care either.As for all the Souper sized Nylabones I wish they'd make the same thing just a bit longer in length. My dog is very tall but with a long narrow snout.
Dog loved it didn't last too long We got this for our black lab puppy. She is an aggressive chewer. She loved this bone so much so that she destroyed it. I don't recall exactly how long it lasted but only a couple months. We upgraded her to the
Chew This One of our Danes has eaten the couch and various other items. This is a very good chew toy and he chews it when he feels like it. Our little 14 pound mix likes to carry it around and chew on it.
The only thing that stands up to powerful chewers. These are the only bones that my Mastiff and beagle can keep around for their chewing needs. Most bones end up in rubber shreds on my carpet within ten minutes. These last a long time and the dogs simply LOVE them.
Big dog chew Nylabone is still the best option if you want a great dog chew toy without the splinter dangers of real bones or a mess on your furniture and floors.
Love it Our three Dobermans and Bulldog love this. However it is not the same on in the pic. The one I received had raised bumps and grooves which I think they enjoyed on their gums/mouth even better. I highly recommend this product.

10 minutes and a puppy killed it. This toy showed immediate wear by my 40lb puppy who isn't spastic with toys. She was just making it squeak and already there are jagged tooth tears all over the toy. Due to the obvious ease at which she could tear this thing apart I took it away before she has a chance to swallow bits of it.
Woo hoo JW! Okthis is the best toy ever. After dumping hundreds into indestructible stuffed toys that were instantly shredded kongs that were picked up and immediately abandoned and overpriced tennis ball launchers that result in me running more than my dog this ridiculous little bear is my chew happy 40lb lab mix's pride and joy. This thing has lasted for over a year only broke down because we leave it out in the yard and the sun/rain eventually got to it and has entertained my dog for hours on end.
Not for chewers I bought this toy because my understanding was that it was designed for chewers. My 40 lb dog loved it for 2 days. On day one the ears were chewed off and she was choking on the pieces. On day three the squeaker no longer worked. This company made a heavy duty green bear that my dog has used for 2 months with minor damage. Disappointed this one wasn't as sturdy.
Great toy even for heavy chewers. My dog the destroyer of all things squeaky has had this toy for nearly a month and it's still going strong. I examine it every few days and there aren't even any chunks missing yet. I'm not sure if this toy is extra tough or if the awkward shape just makes it harder to teat apart but she loves to play with this toy and I love that I'm not going to have to buy a replacement every other week. It's a winwin.
Better than others like it This doesn't have parts like legs or feet that can be chewed off easily. Very important for those dogs that like to destroy things.
jw pet bear dog toy medium these toys are great for aggressive chewers like my minidachshund but they are a little expensive. he still chews thru them and get the squeaker out. so it's like wasting 5 ot 6 dollars for 23 minutes of playing..but he loves them..better than chewing thru in 23 seconds which is what is usual for a toy bought thats 23 dollars..they are a great toy..

Super fun at night Considering that I work all day I find this the perfect toy to play with my dog with at night.It will be nice in the Arizona summer when it's going to be too hot to play outside during the day anyway.I got a bunch of spare batteries for it from here because I plan on using it a lot.

My Dog LOVES this ball Best dog toy purchase we have made for our Blue Heeler. She does not want to stop fetching this ball. Normally she eventually loses interest because of distractions during the day but when we used this bright ball at night she was completely focused. And as others have commented it fits the Chuckit which is awesome! Says on the package the ball floats too will be great at the lake at night.
Meh it's ok We got this for our dog she likes it but isn't totally in love. This ball is a really hard rubber about the size of a tennis ball and slowly changes colors. You have to turn it on before it will start to flash and it's really difficult to do this. I gave it the rating I did for the following reasons it's hard to turn on not turning on when the dog plays with it and it flashes really really slowly which doesn't keep the dog entertained at all.
Much better than expected I was a bit leery of the product based on some of the reviews. After a couple months of use I am very pleased.I have not had any of the problems with the switch the ball breaking etc.My dog is a serious chewer and with jaws that can crack most anything. He chews on these balls just as he does tennis balls and they still work fine. He has yet to manage to turn off the lights and I can't figure how he would as it requires continuous pressure for about 10 seconds.The balls are obviously meant only for interactive use between you and your dog if he had full time access to them he would find a way to chew through They also are a fairly hard plastic so hard throws onto pavement would not be a great idea but those seem like common sense to me.They fit well into a medium Chukit or other tennisball sized thrower.
Cute but kinda pricey I bought this product for my boyfriends dog. She loved it. We would take it to the part at night and play catch. She loves chasing the ball as it changes colors in the dark. A little pricey though but battery only lasted 20 hours or so. Great colors. If it was less that $5 I think I would recommend it.
Chuck it! This ball is great for playing Chuck it with your dog at night. It's super bouncy and easily visible. I also loves that it changes colors.
Great Fun in the Evenings! We got the K9 MeteorLight as a Christmas gift for our dog no we're not crazy dog people and she's loved playing with it these past few weeks. It has been especially handy during the mild winter we're having here in the midAtlantic it's still plenty warm to play out in the backyard but it does get dark early.The ball is very solid and our dog doesn't seem to be able to chew it like she does a regular tennis ball. Given the electronic components contained in it obviously you should not be using this as a chew toy. I don't know how well it would handle being thrown against a hard surface like pavement or the wall of a house so I've stuck with just throwing it on the grass and haven't encountered any problems.As an added bonus the ball rinses clean after use.
Fantastic for Night Time Play I purchased this ball because my dog loves to play fetch in the yard after dark. I had previously used glow in the dark balls but they only keep their glow for so long. This is MUCH better he never loses sight of it. Previously I had to get the flashlight and help him hunt for his balls in the yard if he couldn't find it. Now I can just sit on the deck and toss him the ball without a care. My only complaint is that I wish they had a small sized option. My dog is a Jack Russell mix only about 25 pounds. Generally he prefers a smaller sized ball his favorites are the Nebo small sized dog balls which have a 2 diameter.

Great toys. Our dog loves them! Great toy pack. Durable products loud squeakersour pup loves to make noise! The tug toy is great but if your dog likes to chew don't leave the toy unattended. Great for tugging but our boxer/lab chewed through one of the blue fringe pieces in no time. Red fetch toy is handy because you can clip in different sized balls to toss.
Fantastic! I can't say enough good things about KONG products! I purchased this over the summer and my puppy is still excited about each toy in the package. In particular she and I both enjoy the KONG Tails blue nylon tails threaded through a rubber KONG toy. I have never met a dog that didn't love the KONG Tails it's perfect for fetch and tug. The tails flap around when the dog shakes it so it's even fun for the dog playing on its own.The bowling pin shaped squeaker is also a favorite. When you throw it the bowling pin shape causes it to bounce in an unpredictable pattern and keeps the fetch game new and exciting for the dog.Each piece has held up well. There's no damage at all to the rubber flyer or ballistic ring. The tennis ball fuzz is coming off the balls and bowling pin and there is some fraying on the tails. Considering the fact that my highenergy dog has been trying to destroy each toy for a few hours every day over the course of months I have to say I'm impressed. Wow! Amazing deal on these KONG toys. If you have a frisbee dog and have not tried the KONG Flyer yetdo so now! It flies perfectly and is gentle on their teeth when they catch it. Try not to leave it for them to just chew on. Since it's designed for flight it is thinner than a regular KONG chew toy and they can destroy it. What is perfect for a good chewfest is the Ballistic Ring this package comes with. the KONG Tails the KONG toy with the blue legs coming out is excellent for dogs that love KONGS. They can play tug with you shake it and chew chew chew! Eventually the blue insert will ware outbut then you have another KONG toy for stuffing throwing and chewing. Kong toys really do last longer The Kong toys that we have given our Husky mix have outlasted any other toys that we've tried so far. He especially loves the squeaker balls and bowling pin. The only con is that our dog was able to pull the feltlike material off of the bowling pin. Now that it's all off it's fine but we had to take it away and remove the material so that he would not gag on it when it got stuck in his mouth.
Great for my crazy dog! My dog is a Dane lab mix. He loves to chew everything. He isn't happy unless he is destroying his toys. We still have all of them we purchased at Christmas time. Some of them are pretty worn but he still plays with them. He can destroy other toys in an hour. These are pretty strong compared to most.
Love it = I have two 8 month old mixed puppies about 35.
Great value My dog loves the toys in this set and they are so durable. He is a heavy chewer and tears most toys up but these have withstood his chewing. I don't really use the launcher a lot but the rest of the toys are great and still have their squeakers intact except for the frisbee which doesn't have a squeaker. I highly recommend this pack for the variety durability and value.

Dogs loved it The variety of items in this fun pack kept the dogs entertained for a long time. However my Golden Retriever loves to destroy things ad immediately went for the tassels on the kong. Good variety for outdoor play.
