Not so Tuff I read a lot of the review of how people had ruff & tuff dog that could NOT destroy this toy. We have a Chocolate lab/German Short Hair mix and he has managed to dis troy this toy in 2 weeks. Oh well I guess it was made for a ruff & tuff dogs.
Stinks I purchased this product from WalMart for my 8wk old Shih Tzu. I gave it to her she sniffed it and jumped back!! She slowly walked back to it and jumped back again!! I kept urging her to play with it in my calm angelic voice and she kept sniffing it but she wasn't feeling it whatsoever. I decided to take a whiff of it myself and OMG!! HORRIBLELIKE WTF!! Now keep in my mind that my puppy chews on everything from fingers clothes tissue pillowswhatever!! But in no way shape or form would she play with itshe literally stepped over this chew toy to get to her other toys. I know every pup is different but this did not work for us.
hmmmm Neither of our two dogs will touch this toy even though they play with almost any other type of toy we give them. I don't blame them either it's doesn't even remotely smell of bacon just some sort of really strong odor.
Great Chew Toy I have one aggressive chewer on my hands. He is a cocker spaniel/ shih tzu mix you wouldn't expect him to be a chewing monster but he is awful. He has chewed everything/ anything. And unfortunately he won't just chew it up he actually ends up eating whatever he chews. I've had many trips to the emergency vet clinic because we thought he may have a blockage. So I was desperate for some kind of toy he could chew and not destroy and eat. I found it with the Chew n Clean series from Hartz. This particular toy is different from the original chew and clean because of the bog rubber balls attached on either end of the toy.
