Cute Toy but Not Chew Proof After purchasing the Kyjen 6 squeaker snake from PetsMart and realizing that it was a great toy I quickly looked up Kyjen online and found/purchased several other toys. One of which was the large intellibone puzzle. The website never claimed that this toy was chew resistant and I should have known better but my dog likes puzzles so I thought this would be a great toy for her.

poor quality but still good toy This is a good toy to keep your dog occupied and it gives them some mental activity as well but the toy came with a slight tear in the bone and most of the squeakers in the rings were broken. I just wish the toy was sturdier. OK for small dogs but probably not good for bigger or rougher ones.
IntelliBone Dog Toy My Lab enjoys the IntelliBone. She carries it around the house with and without the rings. She just got this for Christmas and after a few days has gotten the hang of taking some of the rings off though she seems to prefer playing with the rings as toss and fetch toys.**Update Although my dog truly enjoyed playing with this toy the seams ripped easily. I had to sew them together a number of times. Little by little the pieces have ended up in the trash. I don't know if I would recommend the IntelliBone. The dog liked it but it didn't hold up very well.
Great fun for our lab Our lab has many toys. We pick them up and place them in a crate in the corner.We'll put the rings back on the bone and he'll get it out and play with it. Working the rings off the bone isn't much of a challenge for him anymore but he still likes this toy.The quality isn't the most sturdy and we're seeing some wear at the seams on the bone part that the rings go onto.Thankfully our lab lives up to his breed and he's a soft chewer. This toy wouldn't last long with our friend's boxer / rot mix. She's a power chewer.
Isabella gives 4 paws up! My 4 month old Standard Schnauzer enjoys this toy very much. I started her off with just playing with one of the rings by itself. Then I started playing a little tug of war with a few of the rings on the center bone. I pull the ring almost all the way off and allow her to tug at it so she catches on to what the goal is. It is a bit tough to pull the rings off but I'm sure that as she grows it will become easier. Her favorite part is the big blue bone. I love it b/c it's something we can play with together.
Not really a puzzle toy This isn't really a puzzle toy. If you're looking for something that will take your dog 10+ minutes to solve then this isn't really right for you. It only took a few minutes to pull all the donuts off the bone for my jack russell. I don't think there is much mental stimulus involved with this toy. But other than that it's a great squeaky toy that can be played with for a while. He will pull off all the donuts and squeak away.
Seemed like it would've been a good toy My dog figured out how to get the rings off and as he was in the process had a great time squeaking the rings bone etc. I went in the other room for a minute and he proudly brings me the bare bone destuffed and completely destroyed. I was hoping that wouldn't happen he's not normally too destructive with stuffed toys at least right away but something tempted him to just rip it open which he did easily. On the upside he still has fun with the rings that are left.
squeakers A Kid's Review my dogs' only intent is to find the squeaker inside. needless to say this toy didnt last very long because of that. they never actually took the time to remove the rings from the bone. i removed one or two for them to see they came off but once removed they only seemed interested in finding the squeaker inside. so the plush bone and the rings were destroyed within a week. the dogs loved the toy!! but they love the squeakers more. the small was the perfect size for both my yorkiepoo and min pin. the rottweiler liked playing with it too. i would probably buy another one because they liked it so much.
A Great Toy 2 in 1 My dog is still working on taking the rings off in the meantime I love the 2 in 1 aspect of the rings and bone each as a new and different toy.
