My big dogs love the big tuffy's! I have 90 lb dogs and plush toys are usually out of the question. They still do destry these but it takes a good month or so. They just love the size of these and attacking them.
Not Destroyed Yet.Even after hours and hours of play!!!!! I just received Bevo the Bull in the mail today and my American Bulldog 100+ lbs. has been tossing it in the air swinging it by the leg and running around the yard with it for hours now.
bulldog approved We recieved this as a gift and it lasted through 3 bullies. The puppy finally destoryed it. she would suck on his horns till they were so soaked and then yank on them till they ripped off. Now mind you it was a big as she was and she would drag it around the house quite funny. I'm now getting a new one for her.
Bevo the Bull Awesome Bevo the Bull is awesome. He is very large and tough for my Boxer to handle. I always buy Tuffy's toys as they last longest.
AMAZING This has been the longest lasting toy in our home!! With two large breed dogs no toys last for more than a day without being destroyed!!! This lasted us 6 months!!! Its still going but one of my dogs got a stitch loose and made a small hole.his objective is to empty every toy of its stuffing as fast as he can and spit it on the floor.
Hurts my Dogs Gums First off let me start by saying that I have two seventy pound lab mixes. They will only play with plush toys and they are very rough with them. The typical toy will last about a day maybe two tops. I was very excited when I read about these toys as they promised extreme toughness with softness to protect their gums.I purchased two of these toys about a month ago both the bull and the sheep and they are still in one piece. The fact that they are still in one piece is that my dogs won't really touch them. In fact after the initial 5 minutes of excitement I haven't really been able to get them to play with them at all and here's whyConsNo squeakers! These toys are quite large and very heavy. Even with dogs their size there aren't many places on the toy that they can grab and get a good hold on. This leaves them only the horns to comfortably pick it up by but the weight of the toy doesn't allow them to run around with it as it bangs into their legs as they move.I believe that the weight and size issue wouldn't be as bad if it wasn't for the false advertising about them being soft. All of the seams on the toy are reinforced with very hard nylon stitching which protrudes about 1/2 out from the toy. If you look carefully at the pictures you can see it it is the black seam running along the horns back hoofs etc. This tough nylon causes my dogs gums to bleed. There is enough discomfort caused by the thick hard nylon that they have left blood stains all over the horns.ProsIf your dog will actually play with this toy I would imagine it is the best bang for the buck you will find. Although pricey the build of the toy is far superior to any other plush toy I've ever seen. Had my dogs been able to use this toy I would imagine that it would have lasted a VERY long time before they were able to completely dismantle it.ConclusionAll in all I wasted a decent amount of money buying toys that will never get used. I would never have purchased these toys if the description had been more accurate about it having soft edges won't hurt gums.
Fun Toy for my tough chewer! I have a chewer unlike any chewer out there. He is a 9 month Bull dog/Pit mix and he loves his toys. Truthfully it took him 1 week to pull out the stuffing but thats the longest a toy except for nylabones and the alligator tuff toy has taken him to destroy. He still walks around with it in his mouth the head is still stuffed and still plays with it.He also has the alligator which took much longer to semi destroy but the green alien/octopus took about 2 days. The toy is really big for him but he still enjoys playing with it.
Nearly indestructible! This product shipped quickly and replaced my previous Bevo the Bull that took my dogs over THREE YEARS to get the stuffing out of.
Tuffy's Bevo the bull I have a great dane puppy and a boxer. Toys do not last long around our household. I bought this product and some of the other products and they have lasted several months. The bull was larger than I was expecting but I think that makes my dogs like it more its easier for them to play tug of war with. I highly recommend this item for people with strong chewers.
Save your money My 46lb. pitbull mix ripped off the tail in 1 day one of the horns on day 2 and most of the head on day 3. I expected this product to last at least a month. I will not buy many more soft toys. I do have one of the Tuffy rings which has held up a lot better. Overall I'm disappointed in Bevo the Bull.
