Looks nice but could be better. No dog is a neat dog. That being said the wood is already warped from the water splashing out with every lap of the tongue my dog did. I'd rather it have been plastic with the look of wood instead of it being woodor rather cheap wood. It does look nice however. It's just a shame I know now it won't last long. Also you can just put dog food in it you would have to hide the big bag of dog food by putting it inside another bag that will fit inside this storage.
dog dish I think this item works great. I had both hips replaced and it is much better now because the dishes are higher and easier to fill. I own two of them because I have two dogs.
Not so good I give this only 2 stars because the design is poor. The water bowl does not sit tight and allows water to drip into the food storage area. I have mold growing all around the rim of the feeder. IF I stored food in the bin it would be ruined and considering the premium food I feed that would be a disaster.The Feeder looks nice it is sturdy and blends well with any decor BUT with the poor design and fiber MDF construction constantly getting wet it will not last and with mold growing it smells even with me cleaning it constantly it is more work than it is worth. I am looking for somehting else.
looks nice but leaks Yes it looks great! Good height for a Brittany. He's not that messy of an eater but the water does splash onto the top surface and leaks to the inside. After two years the particleboard sides have begun to swell forcing the finish to split and if you look close you can see raw substratebut it's still holding together just don't look to close and it's fine I'm sure guests don't notice. However I did have to pitch all the stuff his tooth brush hair brush ear cleaner solution etc. that was stored inside becuase it got moldy from the moisture. I added a glass dish inside to catch the drips so we should get a few more years of use out of the stand.
water damage i have 2 of these sets and was ECSTATIC to get them! i have a problem with 1. water damage on the lid/top. youd think with this thing being $40 they would have waterproofed the top of it given it is made to hold a bowl of water. 2. around the bowls water gets under there and drips into the storage and it caused the same water damage and warped it. i cant store anything in there for fear it would mold. it seems to ALWAYS be wet. although i love how they look they are appearing to be more of a hassle than helpful. they are a GREAT height for my dogs but thats about it. i dont necessarily recommend this product. NOTE i have only had this 1 month.
Love this high feeder! My sister had one of these so I ordered one too.
Nice looking but dangerous I bought this for our 65lb dog and she really liked the height of it so we thought it was great. However after a few weeks of use we discovered that there was black mold growing inside because of the water dripping from the dish on top. There's no ventilation when the food and water dish are in place so it's just a constant dark and damp space perfect for mold. Of course we took the dishes out to wash them frequently but I didn't think I'd have to worry about black mold and the dark color of the stand made it difficult to see. We have an infant in the house so we just threw it out and have to find something else now.
Disappointed This feeder is perfect for my dog in every way EXCEPT since he is a sloppy drinker water leaks into the storage area. It can't be used for storage and must be cleaned regularly.
Very very cute! It is much smaller than it appears so pay attention to the measurements. Works great for me and my boxer puppy though. The company that makes this does an amazing job in packaging and instructions. Easy to put together except for a little confusion on how the hinges should be put on the instructional picture is pretty small. All in all nice looking product meticulous care in packaging and appears sturdy enough to last for many years.
Golden Retriever Approved. Since I know Golden's are prone to hip problems I wanted to buy my pup something so she would not have to bend while eating. I should never have even bothered with puppy bowls since by 3 months old she was ready for this setup. I do not use the storage aspect of this product because to lift the top you would have to remove the bowls or anything in them would spill. But the design looks nice and it serves the purpose of allowing my large breed dog to eat comfortably. All of her visiting puppy friends that vary greatly in size use the bowls easily. Even the small breed dogs do not seem to mind standing up on their hind legs to share her water.
