Not KONG tuff My puppy loves stuffed animals. She loves them so much it takes her less than five minutes to have an arm and a leg torn off. I was hoping this Kong model would last longer but no such luck. Fabric animals are her favorite but I am giving up! They are too expensive for such a short time of usage.
Only the braid is left I have a 60 pound Golden Retriever and the only thing left of this is the braid. She tore the rest of this thing apart. To be fair she tears everything apart. Even though the braid is all that remains she still carries this thing around with her.
Lasted about 30 minutes Within 10 minutes our puppy had the face ripped open and within 30 minutes all limbs had been ripped off and the braid was unraveling. While it was quite amusing to watch the dog throw the monkey through the air and pounce on it I was very disappointed that I spent so much money on a toy that I had to throw away within half an hour. Not worth the money unless your dog plays gently and is a light chewer.
Way too small does not seem like it would last The description says the small size is approx. 11 long yet I only measured 6 inches. It's for a very very small dog and does not seem like it would hold up to a chewer.
item looks used and poorly put together I was very disappointed with the KONG Giraffe. We have had several of this specific toy before but the eyes were all crooked and the nostrils were going every which way. The fabric seemed dirty. The only thing that implied it was new was it was attached to the cardboard. I've never had a problem with a product from you before. I realize it's only a dog toy but we like to start out with it being in good condition.
Not worth the money! I bought this toy for my two labs. It did not last long so I was very disappointed. I have grown to love kong products but this on was a waste of money.
days of fun We gave this as a gift to our friend's pup who they passionately call little monkey. It quickly lost it's tail and stuffing but the remaining body provided days of fun. It did it's job as a disposable toy.
Great toy if you want shredded fabric all over you living room My dog loves Kong Squiggles uses them as a pacifier before eventually performing a sqeakerectomy and then ripping them apart wanting to eat the fabirc. She was less interested in his toy but after running out of other toys to destroy she picked this up and destroyed it in one sitting. That meant a vaccuum session for meand one less toy for her.If you dog is nondestructive this might make a good option.
Evaluate your dog's play style before buying I read many of the reviews before making my purchase and read about how easily the toy is destroyed. But the small Kong Braidz is such a good toy for our nothardplaying nonchewing 8yearold fivepound male Yorkie that I thought it would be fine for our fourmonthold fivepound male mixed terrier puppy. With the older boy it's great for tugofwar fetch and practicing that Yorkie deathshake. The braided body is strong so I thought this was a pretty well constructed toy.The new puppy is a normal puppy a more vigorous player and he has those sharp little puppy teeth.
good buy This toy was smaller than I expected but it was and still is a big hit with both of my miniature daschunds. If one has it the other wants it.
