  • Looped ropes absorb tugging stress
  • Durable, multi-layered fabric
  • Approximately 20-inches long; suitable for dogs up to 80 pounds
  • Knotted rope inside for realistic feel
  • Minimal stuffing

  • my dog chocked on the fabric he ripped in 3 minutes this was so pricey and my 4month old 9lb puppy tore in up in 3 minutes! 3 minutes! I started buying only West Paw and JW after that. Don't waste your money on this one.
LOVE for interactive & independent play! My 9monthold French bulldog has three Small/Medium Tugger Knots and absolutely LOVES them. We use them for playing fetch indoors and for playing tug and teaching the give command!. My little guy though only 27 lbs is a mediumlevel chewer and they have held up wonderfully. HOWEVER his chocolate lab buddy got his paws on one of the Tugger Knots and absolutely destroyed it. This is a dog who has also destroyed hard plastic Premier treatdispensing balls.Essentially know your dog! My Frenchie loves chewing on the Tugger Knots on his own especially when he locates the squeekers and with me. He's also NEVER destroyed a plush toyif your dog has this might not be the toy for you.
after a haircut this lion is the best!!! popeye my 10 month old english bulldog loves the tugger knot toys. he tore up the fabric on his purple monkey after 2 months but the ropes stayed intact and it washed well so i couldn't pass up the lion when i saw it in the clearance bin. now i know why it was in therethe lion's main easily comes off in tufts when popeye pulls on the hair and not the rope and the hairs would get lodged in his throat making him hack. i fought to get it from him then gave the lion a haircut with scissors chopping off all that bushy mess then gave it back to him. he loves his bald lion and nowso do i. so far after 1 month of every day play he's punctured the lion head and i've pulled the stuffing out of his head but everything else is just fine.
heavy cheweres beware My shiba inu destroyed this in two days.We had to throw it away.heavy chewers beware. Light chewers are probably fine..
In shreds in an hour The Kong name used to stand for sturdy long lasting dog toys. This one certainly changed my opinion. It was in shreds in an hour. Our five month old golden is not easy on toys but nothing has disintegrated like this one. Cheap cheap cheap.
Adorable but not very durable I guess I should have known that the ridgeback puppy and a black lab would have this thing destroyed in a day. There isn't a lot of stuffing in the animal itself but what little there is becomes a wonderful treat for a puppy unfortunately. I plan on taking the lion off and leaving the rope on for the two dogs to play with. The soul purpose of purchasing this product was based on the ridgeback's heritage in lion cornering in Africa. Cute but maybe for small dogs.
Not for chewers This is actually my first review and I'm a big Amazon shopper! I usually love Kong products but my 15pound Shichon tore a hole in the body of the moose in just a couple of weeks. It's definitely not for big chewers.
The Kong Challenge? My dog loves his collection of Kong toys. The KONG Tugger Knots Lion Dog in Medium/Large quickly became his favorite toy. He just as quickly within about 24 hours of receiving it shredded the whole thing. He pulled out the lion's mane in big tufts and then he ripped open the body exposed the rope on the inside and spread the white stuffing all over the apartment. I am going to sew it back up since he loves the toy so much he keeps pointing and making noises for me to take it off the shelf so he can continue his destruction. This toy is both a great success and a failure. Any toy hound will love it. It does NOT hold up to the Kong challenge. The Product Features section states that it is Durable tough interactive for 80 pound dogs! My 15pound lap dog made mincemeat of this toy.
Mediocre toy My German Shepherd puppy pulled off tufts of the lion's mane until she had eaten all of it. She also chewed the rope knots on either end and within minutes they were frayed to the point where I had to cut them off. For a smaller dog that isn't a chewer or doesn't have powerful teeth maybe this is a fine toy however I wouldn't recommend it for chewers.
Loved this toy My standard schnauzer is a real chewer. This toy lasted nearly a month about 29 days longer than most 'tough' toys I've purchased for her. Stuffing finally started to be released a few days ago. This toy is sturdy and well built. You won't be disappointed.
